Well. Doy. Doogie grew up and he’s cute and outspoken now. If you haven’t seen Dr. Horrible’s Sing a Long Blog then you’re missing out. If you haven’t seen that poster of NPH for Harold and Kumar 2, where have you been? And I don’t like CBS comedies, but the idea of a gay man playing a straight dude p*#syhound is priceless.

On shaking the whole Doogie thing: “All I have to do is hope that more chapters go by where I’m playing other roles, and Doogie will become an arrow in a quiver, as opposed to some albatross that I worry about.”

The great gay hope of dude-bro comedy split his teen years between the set of Doogie Howser, M.D. and his Albuquerque residency as the drama school geek. “That was a good clique to be in,” the 36-year-old says now, at the tail end of a year when he hosted telecasts of both the Tony and Emmy awards. “You were still liked.” He pauses, quirking an eyebrow for his obligatory punchline: “Which in high school is kind of important.”

Getting into the holiday spirit, Alyson Hannigan and her husband Alexis Denisof toook baby Satyana out for her first Halloween in Santa Monica on Saturday (October 31).

The happy family dressed in matching kangaroo outfits, strolling about the city streets in search of a bagful of sweet treats for their baby girl.
